Missing body

This is my 3rd time of installing FCOM, and every now and again one random bloody weapon on a random goblin will be missing, so annoying.

 

Iv got used to it now tho, only happens occasionly and if you get rid of the weapon it disappears.

 

 

Kinda scary tho when your creeping thru a dungeon only to have a big "WTF" come bounding down the corridor at you!

Well you've done a lot better than me. I'm to the point that I think I'm too dumb to get this to work. I've tried to get everything right but when I enable all the required files I can't load the game I CTD before the game loads. It's probably something I've missed (I'm an old fart) so I guess I'll take a break from trying to get FCOM to work and get on with the game. Missing bodies is a big distraction. Thanks for the help.

:wallbash: This is just an update to this problem. I've figured out one of the mods that got messed up but now all my names are in German any ideas?

I'm not sure what you want me to post. The names I'm refering to is many things in the inventory list some of the names on the doors, etc. I think I got the body back when I reinstalled the mod Absolutely Sexy MarketDistrict for Oblivion

 

When I did that I got the body back but I ran into the german problem.

When I first started adding mods, I was stunned to notice that one day all my spells and enchantments on weapons and armor were in Italian. Turned out one of the "10 physic effects to spells" esps that came with the download was in Italian and this little mod was the cause.

 

The German is obviously from a German mod. Do you by chance have Oblivion WarCry installed? A lot of people hook up the Oblivion WarCry.esp instead of the Oblivion WarCryEV.esp...EV being English Version.

Yep that was it but I still don't know what I've done wrong. I looked at the OMOD that I had made deleted the offending esp and kept the EV version. When I tried to load the game CTD. I rebuilt the OMOD with both got the game to load and everything is back to normal. O I forgot one thing I updated the bash patch. That might be it. Anyway thanks again. Now I go on to figure out what else I've messed up.
