vwguy
I am having this exact issue shown in this video (credit to whomever made it). I'm running an Nvidia gtx 560 with the latest drivers installed. I have seen some videos on adjusting some settings in the skyrimprefs.ini file, but they really dropped framerate. If you've fixed this, what settings did you use to maintain framerate? Dowakin13
I suggest to change settings Shadow bias scale at least 0.
JackNitro
Its usually caused by Skyrim's wierd sun update settings. I've heard this tweak makes it much less noticeable: >open skyrim.ini>add the following lines under [Display]fSunShadowUpdateTime=.25fSunUpdateThreshold=1.5>save skyrim.ini I think it also increases your performance slightly. Otherwise, try setting iBlurDeferredShadowMask=7 (any number from 5-7) in SkyrimPrefs.ini. This should make the shadows blurrier, and therefore less jagged, with little impact on performance.
