awwhownice
I'm a bit new to modding/SCK, but I have the jist of it down to atleast where I set up my cave's shell (more or less would be walk-through-able) that I had made to see how it looked in game before I tidied up and added clutter and navmesh, etc... but every time I go to enter from the door I set up in the Skyrim wilderness, it just sits at a load screen, with the smoke blowing around. No other load screen pictures or anything. I have waited about 10 minutes before, only to see that my actual Skyrim game ends up not responding, even though the smoke is still moving and the music is still playing like normal. On the topic of system specs for my PC and my Skyrim game itself, to give you a general idea I have about 40 FPS running on slightly more than medium quality visuals, also going from an interior to the main Skyrim world takes about 10-15 seconds sometimes...not anything that would affect my new cave loading that long (or so I think). Also, I have tried disabling all other mods except my skyrim.esm, the update, and my mod. I do not have a follower with me or enemies/NPCs in said cave to have anything odd happen with the absence of the navmesh. The doors are linked properly as well. I have also tried using console commands "coc" to teleport into my cave, still I am just sitting at a load screen. Just looking for an answer on here before I continue, I did spend a lot of time and the cave itself is not -so- big, I just want to make sure before I continue further and possibly waste time, I would reach out on here to see if I am doing something wrong. If you need me to be more specific about anything, please let me know.
awwhownice
Also - not sure if this helps or not... I DID actually try to navmesh the cave, just a rough layer until I could clean everything up like I said, used the "Recast Based" method, gave it 15 minutes, and SCK always times out on me, never comes back. Another tidbit... again my cave is not that big, it does have longer caverns and a big room at the end that houses more or less 2 big mountain with a big waterfall on one, but I do notice it takes a long time to add/delete an object and navigating the render window is very jumpy, on the render window itself, the memory looks to be measured (if that's what that is measuring) at a current ~357 MB/ 157 MB ...... it could be the sheer amount of ground tiles I put in the larger part in the last room... any good alternatives for this? awwhownice
FURTHERMORE.... no other areas are having an issue... i know this is a problem sometimes with load screens while entering towns and dungeons for some due to corrupted save files or what have you, but it seems to be exclusively with trying to enter my cave i created.
