dragonslayer2k12 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 (edited) I picked up that recent drivable ACP mod and tried to use it lol well it was annoying trying to drive it and get to it in the first place but it got me bit by the vehicles bug for this game and now I'm searching around for things to download. I am following this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27825 giant robots mod hopefully someday it works correctly and the whole thing gets a bit more immersive and they remove the giant call robot button near sanctuary. There is this mod but it is still having a few problems https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36021 gonna keep my eye on it. Then I find fallout 4 vehicles modded into other games like spintires wuuuuuuuuuutttt!!!!???? Look at that truck handle omg wuuuut???? I downloaded the VTO redux mod to try and get a handle on some things that none of the vehicle mods seem to deal with and that is the world around the user suddenly looking a lot smaller while driving something. The VTO doesn't actually fly it just pretends to with fast travel and fade to black screens. That solves the odd looking world around the player while moving bit but then I can't see the world around me while flying or see the thing flying. Fallout 4 could have been so much better if bethesda had done a very different approach to the game where vehicles were actually useful. I hate to mention it because I hate this new game but rage 2 has vehicles and driving is a big part of that game. Too bad fallout 4 couldn't have been a bigger more drivable world like that. I'm actually wanting to use the VTO mod to recover more than one suit of PA at a time from the glowing sea and other places now I find myself looking at busted trucks I find on the roads thinking that I could fit one suit of PA back there:-( This game world really should have been much bigger than it is.
