Makavcio
Hey, I've decided to start a new game of F:NV on a much higher difficulty level than my first game months ago. Unfortunately my old approach doesn't seem to work. The problem is that I've already spent a considerable amount of time on the game and starting it from the scratch again is not an option. I need a way to edit my character so the game is playable (my character is not useless anymore) and sill enjoyable (he does not become a superhero). So far I've only found a save game editor that allowed me to change my SPECIAL, however both my skills and perks could not be modified. "Deleveling" my character left me with an advanced character that only reported as lv 1. Is it possible to properly edit my character? If so, how do I do it? Thanks in advance. I'm using the steam's ultimate edition of the game.

This web page has all of the info you need: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_console_commands Particularly: player.modavplayer.addperkplayer.removeperk
Makavcio
Thank you very much. player.forceav A X is my savior I've already found something about such commands but typing "help" in console displayed only about a dozen of commands completely irrelevant for me. I gotta bookmark that whole wikia.Alas, there's one thing I don't see there. I'm fortunately ok with my perks but would like to change my "tag" skills. I'm unsure how to do it even after reading an article in fallout 3 wikia. What command should I use to remove one and add another.
whodat1
I would not use player.forceav <skill/special> # . There have been instances when after using that command where trait that was changed does not change again even when it should. Instead use player.modav <skill/special> #, the number can be either positive or negative and it will change the specified skill or special by that much. Makavcio
Yeah, after a short consideration I decided to do so myself anticipating such possibility. It seemed too... forceful.Still can't change the tag. It's not really a game issue anymore, however it would be neat to make it clean.
