Probe1
EDIT: FIXED I think Psychic Guards (harder) has royally screwed up my game. the harder vers of this mod sets everyones disposition to 0 that has seen you commit a crime/you attacked etc. So I'm running through the thief guild missions. A guard saw me entering the watch barracks, followed me and caught me lifting the tax sheet (this would be Untaxing the Poor). Lex woke up, I ran and used the doyan to nullify my bounty. Mission 2. Lex is at 0 disposition. Permanently. I've tried moddisposition 00034879 (yeah, I've memorized his actorid number I've tried to so thoroughly), disabling and reenabling him, disabling all the mods I'm running. It continues to say "Harymonus Lex (sp) is at 0 disposition even when I use the command counsel to do so and set it at any number. Does anyone else have any ideas? I wouldn't be posting if going to an earlier save was reasonable so don't waste your time with that one. ...help. Edit: I've actually found Lex's disposition to himself or anyone else uneditable. No matter what value I use it stays the same.
MrCooper2006
You may have already tried this: Open console, click on Lex, type "set disposition to 100" and see if that works, if not.. can you not bribe the SOB????
Probe1
Unfortunately, no. Set disposition to 100 isn't a command. See my post where I explained moddisposition <actorid> <#> wasn't working. And no, bribing and other normal means (charm spells) have no effect either. Is there a way to trick the game into having completing a stage of a mission?
MrCooper2006
Its something like that - defeinitly not the moddisposiition tho - I did it only last night it something like "set disposition to" maybe someone else has the exact code. Make sure you click on him tho so hes selected 1st oh and yeah there is but you need the exact quest stage id and so forth, try googling it. Probe1
Well you were right. Bribing was the solution. It only cost me 6000 gold. I guess I should have been more diligent O.o I'm still stumped as to why this happened but at least I feel better. My last "safe" save was 27 hours ago :\ Ty for the help, I probably would have given up and gone back to waiting for fallout3 :D Kudos
