what does it mean if my grass is purple

erm something purple (expluding things that are suppose to be purple) usally mean that your missing its textures... i think. have you downloaded any nature changing mods recently?

Is it just purple, or is it purple maps of the Imperial City? Also, did you recently download Depth of Field?

The IC Maps and DOF was a killer for me, took me so long to figure that out. Also rather bizarre seeing miniature maps everywhere, especially when stoned.

Is it the physical blades of grass that are purple? Or the landscape itself?

 

If its grass try download a grass mod to overwrite the bad/missing textures

Or try to re-install the update, which might have done something to the grass textures and just didn't download it properly. I don't think that it could be this, but still, you never know.

The dreaded purple. It happens sometimes. I used to get it after downloading a nature changing mod. The thing is, the advice I'd get for it was to uninstall then reinstall Oblivion. Would it work? Yes, every single time.

When i got it, it was because i was using a No DVD fix (because i'm lazy ) for version 1.2.416 without actually updating to that version.
