Yet another CTD Thread

Hey guys,

 

I've had crashes before and usually have found ways to fix them. However, with this one I'm at my wits end on what to do. I began experiencing CTD sometimes sporadically and not often. One day I began experiencing the same CTD when I had to retrieve Nettlebane. I finally attempted to load an older save and then try the same spot. It worked like a charm. Down the road the CTD began happening right around riften repeatedly at the same spot and moment. I then began fiddling with mods. I realized that if I removed the mod SkyTest I was now able to move forward without a crash. However, an hour later I began experiencing a CTD once again during the quest to lift the curse on the orcs as I was exiting the cave. I then attempted to remove Detailed Cities and was able to walk past the entrance to the cave. If I fast traveled to Riften I would once again experience a crash. I was frustrated so I removed all my mods with a fresh install and attempted a new game. Before starting my new game I tried my old save. Just like before with all the mods installed I was unable to fast travel to Riften but was able to walk or fast travel to Whiterun.

 

Now, I'm not sure what this could be because even with the mods removed I'm getting the CTD. Is the save perhaps corrupted from one of the old mods? I read something about strings becoming corrupted and ruining save files. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I'm not sure how to post my load order without manually typing them in. If anyone could tell me that I would be thankful as well.

 

Edit: I would like to add my save file was about 15 hours long. I have a brother who began experiencing the exact same problem at different spots with the same mods. His file was around 60 hours long.
