Hello everyone.

First of all, I have to admit some things:

1) this will be long, and I know it will be a pain in the ass to read, but I really feel like I need to explain everything.

2) I know this idea is kinda complex. And, giving the skyrim nexus isn't the same anymore, I am probably too late.

3)Ideas are like childs: we always think our children are amazing and beautiful, and we always think our ideas are good enough for people to appreciate it. I know that and I will understand if nobody wants to execute mine. But I just have to take it off my chest.

4) I considered making it myself. But I can't. Trying to taught myself modding and the basic coding was like trying to teach a 15 years old dog raised in an apartment to hunt.

Now, to the request :

About two years ago, I had an idea. At the time, I talked through Pm to some experient modders but it doesn't worked out (I am not criticizing them, things just didn't happen). Now I feel like a waste to let the idea die without even trying to convince someone to make it.

The idea itself is centered on dawnguard. The first time I killed Harkon it felt like he managed the whole situation in a very unwise way for a being with thousands of years of age. He could have used the dragonborn to get serana. And the dragonborn himself could be a great ally against his own enemies inside the court.

Given that, I thought a way to get that feeling of bad guy to the player. Or even better: to give him a choice.

It all starts when the player sleeps. When he wake up, a note will tell him to go to the deactivated tower in Castle Volkihar. But he must go there alone.

After doing what the player is told, he finds a vampire redguard, who tells a very touching story about his past (long story short: he is serana's brother). He asks you to bring serana there, but she must not know why. Once you do it, he cast a spell on serana and she is teleported. Then you discover he is a priest of molag bal doing a deed for the prince of domination. After confronting the redguard, the player discovers that he must fetch ingredients from three beasts that conveniently reincarnate that exact year.

After going to the first location he will find an old woman who gives him an advice and a enchanted ring. The old woman vanishes and the player start fighting the beasts.

After gathering the three ingredients, he go to the redguard and he makes an incense. A portal to coldharbour is open. There molag bal instigate the player to kill the redguard. The redguard makes an offer to the player, if he accepts: end of the quest, you have a new follower, but lost serana. If he denies, a battle begins. After he defeats the redguard, molag bal possesses the redguard's corpse and make an offer to the player: kill serana and receive and incredibly powerful weapon and armor set. If the player accepts, he will be able to kill serana and loot the redguard corpse. If he denies molag starts fighting the player. But he is invincible. The player must choose between killing himself or dying on molag's hands. When he is about to die, both him and serana are teleported and the ring from the old lady disappear, in its place the player receives a passive power, some kind of blessing from mara. A message appears explaining what happened, end of quest.

Now I want to explain why I think itâs a good idea :

First, because itâs about serana, one of the most beloved skyrim characters.

Second, because the plot has small twists which makes it different from most skyrim quests.

Third, because it adds actual choice to the player, and a choice for the ones who like to play as badguys. Really badguys. And itâs a choice with consequences.

And last, because it will add a character with some depth.

So, thatâs the idea. Hope you guys like it.

The last thing I would like to say is: I know how it must piss modders when someone makes requests like this one. Itâs like I am trying to get inside a tribe without passing through the rites. Itâs like I am to use your hard earned ability to fulfill my desires. In some sense , both of those statements are right, but I think thereâs more to this. I think itâs a way to make something nice, and something that both I and the the modder or modders would be proud of. It may be a way to make something meaningful to the players.

Even if I get brutally ignored, I am thankful to all of you for the hard and good work and for the hours of joy replaying skyrim.

Sorry for the imperfect English and Kudos. ð
