legendarysword Posted January 21, 2019 Share Posted January 21, 2019 Hi so I am having some trouble with my Vortex not loading my mods into skyrim (original skyrim not se) so I have vortex, skyrim and all the mods are on the same drive. I have looked at videos and I know deployment method is supposed to be the hardlink option or the move deployment, which I have tried both. so vortex has installed all the mods into the mod staging folder but nothing is actually installed into the game mods folder which is actual skyrim steam folder. when I run skyrim its basically a vanilla game. all my mods are installed and all the plugins are enabled. I have tried to move my mod staging folder into my skyrim steam folder but It wont let me it keeps giving me the invalid path selected message (kind of knew it wouldnt let me). I have advance mode enabled but its not giving anymore options really at all. I have reinstalled vortex, tried running skyrim with and without skse, I tried using the move deployment method then ran the game that didnt work. I dont know if the mod cycle has to do with anything I dont even want to touch that right because its a mess.
