Please disregard the above post. I've solved this issue. First of all, the SKSE data I posted was incorrect, the variable names were not written case-sensitive as they should have been. Additionally, what made this work was adding -forcesteamloader to Vortex SKSE Command Line. That's all it took.

 

1. Data/SKSE/SKSE.ini:

 

[General]

ClearInvalidRegistrations=1

[Memory]

DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768

ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

2. Vortex -> Edit SKSE Dashboard shortcut:

Name: Skyrim Script Extender

Target: Your install dir ....The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - Legendary Edition\skse_loader.exe

Command Line: -forcesteamloader

DONE!

Two things you can do;

1. don't necro an old thread

2. post in the correct forum. this is vortex support, you need to post this in the skyrim forum. someone there will definitely be able to help you.
