using console controllers with your pc

so i downloaded a couple different versions of motionjoy and the DS3 tool, so that i could start playing skyrim with a PS3 controller. the controller shows up in the driver manager screen like this:

Hardware location Hardware ID Motionjoy

Port_#0002.Hub_#0004 USB\VID_054C&PID_0268&REV_0100 X <red 'x'>

 

and i check the little box next to it and press load driver, but an error happens every time.

SUCCESS:Get Device Install Params.

SUCCESS:Set Device Install Params.

SUCCESS:Building Driver Info List.

ERROR:Call Class Installer fail.. Error code:0Xe0000235

 

either this thing is a load of crap or i am doing something wrong can someone help me out?

 

windows 7 home premium 64bit
