Timmy19992
Hello, I created a mesh from two vanilla mesh. If I import armor and export it back without a cape, it works perfectly in-game. When I add a cape, which I copied from nightingale armor, I have several problems and questions on this topic: first is which dismemberment it should use, then the problem is that armor doesn't show up in-game, when i make it work its all distorted and character arms and legs are all wrapped apart and under weird angle. Today I also got a big ! in red square instead of armor. http://file.si/files/64595_pu2o3/problem1.jpg (For body parts that are not part of armor, they also have weird lighting even if i copied lighting properties from original)http://file.si/files/64596_5bx2f/problem2.jpg (For cape)http://file.si/files/64597_vtqzk/problem3.jpg (For armor) Ty for all help
GileadMaerlyn
The dismemberment should be 32 as you used. For the distortion, it may be a weight problem, unless it appears at min and/or max weight slider. Why do you have 2 NiTrishape in a NiNode?! They should be at the same level than the others. Ty very much for your reply, now armor shows ingame after i removed it from one ninode and put it directly under main ninode, hopefully now some others armor will work that i have created. Timmy19992
OK, figured the problem but not the solution. Blender doesn't export all bone nods that are assigned to the armor. In blender show all bones attached to the body, when exported it just puts on the right side of hands and torso and left side of legs. As far as i understood you don't need to put dismemberment for each leg separately? Also it worked fine with other armors, just not with this one. I also got another problem, creation kit says that i am missing diffuse maps for body parts not covered by armor and are turned black in skyrim. GileadMaerlyn
I doubt dismemberment has anything to do with that. Did you check blender's console after exporting? Maybe there was some errors.
Timmy19992
I reinstalled nif script for blender and nif library. Now it's working. Thanks for help anyway.
Timmy19992
Hello, I have a new problem. I have created a hood and it works perfectly with all elf and human races, just not with argonian and orc. Any idea why - i copied the armor addon from nightingale cape which works with all that races, so i honestly have no idea why isnt it working.
