Trying to inject xwm file back into the mod

There is an combat audio track from a mod that is too low in volume relative to the other music I have from another mod. When the combat comes on it is simply too low, so I used the archive extractor to get at it and converted it to a .wav, after which I used an audio editor to increase the db level, then I converted it back to an xwm file. But now I don't know how to get it back into the mod to replace its lower-volume ancestor! Can the CK be used to achieve this end?
