uv mapping

whats the best way to uv map a body mesh in blender?

i tried to uv map and i always get seams in inner part of the legs.

could someone take a look at my mesh?

ask me to upload it and i will anyways

You have to get seams somewhere: think of it like a net to a box. You must split up the edges to fold it down to a 2D shape.

 

For me, I just use the 'Unwrap' feature when unwrapping bodies. For weapons or hard objects, however, I just use 'Project from View' and stitch the different mapped parts together.
