giskarduk
hello giskard,, i have Jannix quinns potion bottles installed already.. should i disable the old mod?? i am looking foreward to see that new necromancer guild of yours... That issue is one I avoided before I even loaded up the Construction kid and started making the mod. So before this mod was born, it was solved. Compatibility is part of the design didnt you know :) You can leave the original mods of any source material I have used enabled and load it in any order edit it, do anything you want, nothing you do will effect the version in the resource pack :D giskard

giskarduk
giskard- are you in the mood for a bug report?? i have found a few.. I am always in the mood for bug reports that are reports and not a method of bashing something or somebody mate. Just do me a favour and read the docs before posting it, 99.9999% of this weeks bugs are caused by not reading the docs i spent hours writing and phrasing to be as clear as they possibly could be. giskarduk
The Elder Council Mod v1.9 is now on Nexus. 1.8 was 160meg total (roughly), 1.9 is 80meg (roughly) thanks to the resource source pack. Which is a bigger saving than I had expected. Kvatch Aftermath was 40meg and is now 30meg. so thats about 80meg less of a download thanks to the resource pack and it will be 80meg less for every single update i do on those 2 mods from now on. Kvatch actually got about 50megs worth of new stuff added to it from the resource pack so its more like 60meg saving. TEC is using a lot more than than from the resource pack but most of it replaced content taken away from TEC it self so I will not count it except to say players should enjoy the extra 5 packs of staffs now available from arenthia stores and the arenthia market :D Watch out for a new necromancer guild appearing in Arenthia in the future and The Necromancer being brought in to line with the other resource pack mods in its next release. PS the new Omod version of TEC is being uploaded right now :D Giskard
Michlo
I installed the pack and the updated KA this weekend. I was a little nervous thinking I would surely have some work to do getting it all up and running again. I'm very happy to say that I was wrong. :) Everything was simple and smooth. All of my changes inside the Kvatch castle were even still there (I wasn't sure if there would be a conflict with my save game). The ONLY thing I had to change was my staff who were still the males I had changed them to but now had female heads. hehe. Very disconcerting. So kudos to Giskard and his team for a flawless execution. Cheers.
Khet
Good to hear that you're doing it this way to keep your new version sizes smaller. Also, since you did say that modders are free to use your resource pack and need to give credit how are we to go about that? Do we give credit to you and say we used your resource pack, or do we give credit to each individual that contributed to your pack? I ask because I've already looked through it briefly and spotted some things I'd like to use in my own mod. Edit: One thing I did find interesting is that your resource pack parts all have different download numbers, some difference reaching into the 100+ mark. Heh, wonder if TexNexus' download counter is bad, or if people haven't downloaded all the parts yet.
