Male Beards and Eyebrows gone

Hey there. I have suddenly lost Eyebrows and Beards when creating a new male character. I'm assuming its some sort of cosmetic mod that I installed but I can't figure out which it is. Just wondering if anyone knows off hand a mod that changes the male face to remove beards and eyebrows.

I am having the exact same issue. No facial hair option or eyebrow option even appears in the male character creation screen anymore. The only mod I can think of that I have installed that alters the male face is high res face maps for men by geonox. But here's my entire load order just in case:

• 61 BeardFix.esp <this was just an attempt to get my beards back. It's a mod that gives the seven missing beards to other races that should have it. It worked in giving back my missing "Facial Hair" option slider in the character creation menu, but only gave me those 7 beards, and brows are still missing.

 

 

One other question: If I can't resolve this by finding the offending mod, or if it wasn't a mod in the first place, is there a way to browse the Skyrim BSA, extract the beards, and re-insert them manually? Thanks in advance! I really want my beards and brows back! lol

Does anyone have any ideas that might help? I would love to have my beards and brows back. It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult an issue to solve if only more people had experienced it. Seems like there is no amount of googling that brings me any closer to any topics relating to troubleshooting beards and eyebrows.

Hi, I had the same problem but unlike you I use very few mods. The only ones that we both have are the Jaysus Swords and the Apachii Hair mods.

 

I removed the apachii hair mod (as in deleted it, not just disabled) and then verified my system files on Steam. This brought back the brow and beard options in the character creator.

 

I assume that the apachii mod uses the beard and brow entries for additional hairstyles, so removing it returns evrything to normal. The only downer is that now i can only use the vanilla hair...
