WoogieMonster Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 That's correct, OBSE is not a mod so you can't just extract it to your Bethesda folder. You have to actually copy and paste the files into the right place. Take a look at the Readme file, it shows exactly where everything should be. buddah Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 How are you launching it, it must be launched with the obse loader or it won't function. And it has to be in your oblivion folder where the oblivion exe is located. Find the loader in the oblivion folder and right click and select send to desktop (create Shortcut) and launch obse from there it will launch oblivion itself. silvane Posted September 5, 2008 Author Share Posted September 5, 2008 yes, i know.i read the readme file, and did exactly as it said. it still yeilded the same message and result.i did obse, and clicked "launch oblivion with obse"it said "Please check the oblivion directory path in the options screen is correct nd you have obse installed!"
