Ok i know that you have to change this bAllowScreenShot=0 to this bAllowScreenShot=1

in both ini files but when i do the one thats in the bethesda folder is says

cannot create the C:\program files\bethesda softworks\oblivion\oblivion_default.ini file.

make sure that the path and file name are correct. i hit ok brings me to a save screen

i hit save it says : oblivion_default.ini already exists, do you want to replace it? i click Yes

and this comes up cannot create the C:\program files\bethesda softworks\oblivion\oblivion_default.ini file.

make sure that the path and file name are correct.

I know I maybe late on this but Hell:

Two things you can do. Start off you were correct about how you changed your INI file to 1. Next you have to do either of the two:

1. In order to take a screenshot the vanilla way, you have to turn off all anti liaising. Otherwise, you'll just be hitting a key for excersize.

2. Or you can use FRAPS, which will allow you to take short vid clips as well as screenshots and keep all your normal video settings. I use it and love it. Find it at:

fraps.com. Keep in mind that you have to have FRAPS running in order to take the vids and screens.

i got fraps before i found out how to do this it would not take screen shots.

If you're still having trouble and FRAPs is not working for you, try Xfire: http://www.xfire.com/ it's better than FRAPs anyway. If you need help with it, let me know, you can add woogiemonster to your xfire friends list or pm me here on Nexus.
