So, I already have like 5000 gold, and when I go with Velwyn he says he's selling the mansion for 2500 gold, when I tell him yes, he says I don't have enough money. What the f? I've purchased and sold stuff from the Apachii godess store, could it be that he doesn't recognize the gold I've gotten from that store?

 

Or is there any way I can use a command and end this quest already(so that I can have the mansion for me already without having to do the quest?).

Nope. Nothing that has to do with houses either.

Do you know how to use the CS? If so, go look in there, and you should be able to find both the parameters (to check the price) and the quest name/stages. You can then use the console to set the quest stage. You'll probably have to add the key with console too, and adjust a couple other settings (ownership/etc)

Sadly I'm pretty dumb when it comes to stuff like that... unless there's a tutorial I'll mess things up.

i am pretty sure that the real price is 5000 not 2500.. i dont know if that changes anything though

That is why I asked if s/he changed the prices of the houses, I was sure it was more expensive than 2500.

 

You say you have "like 5000 gold," I would suggest go raid a couple of caves or a ruin until you have 5000 or more (more is better) and then try to buy the house again.

Relax, don't worry about it. We can help you through it. Lets try this first to check the price though:

 

-open console (hit the ~ key)

-type "player.additem f 10000000" (without quotes)

-hit enter/return

 

This will give you 1000000 gold (or whatever number you add). Go and try to buy the house. If it lets you, then reload a previous savegame and continue saving your gold.

Omg, I can't believe this, I had like 4982 gold, and the male without a father was selling it at 5000 gold, I'm finally able to buy the house though, thanks a bunch to everyone in this thread! :thanks:
