Szabi90000
Sorry if this has already been answered, but I haven't found anything when I searched. My fallout 4's a little messed up, and I want to reinstall it just to have a clean game I can mod again. I'm wondering if vortex keeps all the archives for the mods, because if if does, I'd only have to install the mods again, instead of going on the nexus and redownloading everything one-by-one
Guest deleted34304850
you dont actually need to reinstall it. just clear out your data directory and have steam validate the local files and let it download any it thinks are missing or need replacing. this is fundamentally the same thing, but will save you a lot of wasted time.if you uninstall fallout - as long as your mod files are somewhere outside of the game folders, then you should be good. BigBizkit
That being said, if all you do is uninstall and reinstall the game via Steam, Vortex will "remember" the mods and plugins. You might need to point to FO4 manually though, once reinstalled. I just tested it on my end.
