Geck won't read from texture/meshes folder

I just re installed windows and all programs, but when I was gonna add a new mesh item to Geck I got the "Invalid directory!" error, I looked all over Google for a answer but found nothing. Then I noticed that instead of beginning with "textures\..." and "meshes\..." it was going directly to "armor\..." etc. So I think that Geck is still reading from the .bsa files instead of the textures and meshes folders.

I have tired with both the archive validator that comes with FMM and a dedicated one. Both reported that they where working ok.

Anyone have any clue what the problem could be?

It's not clear what the problem is.

That sounds normal. When adding a mesh, the GECK will try to start in the meshes subdirectory.

Okay, but the main problem is that when i try to add mesh it says "Invalid directory!"

What is the full path of the directory you tried to use?

D:\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout New Vegas\Data\meshes\Vault 32\Static

The only immediate thing I can think of is possible User Account Control (UAC) issues if you are running Windows Vista or 7. Try running GECK as an administrator.

That was one of the first things I did :/
