ProjectVRD Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 Anyone ever thought of creating a quest where you have to escort people to a hold capital after a scenario where there is eternal darkness? You could have a special, custom creature that exists in the darkness and is afraid of light so torches would be mandatory (magelight being artificial in nature light would be of no use). This would also prevent them from attacking hold capitals where there is ample light sources like Solitude and Whiterun, as well as the walls providing good defence. The creatures could be made to be very, very fast and very strong... able to deliver powerful blows with clawed hands and they hunt in packs, being hairless, four legged and blending into the darkness I suppose would add to the "they are not natural to Skyrim". As a player in this quest there must be an endgame such as investigating what has caused the Sun to set and not return and then ofcourse undoing whatever it was that caused it happen. The scope of the scenario leaves a lot open to a small group of modders to decide their storyline, was the incident caused by mages in the College who delved into magic to powerful for them to handle, did the Dragon's resort to desperate measures to kill off the Dragonborn or is this a spillover from Oblivion with Oblivion itself came under attack and it leaked into Tamriel? The storyline is for the modders to decide, but with a lack of Questline mods out there it would be nice to see a few team up and help get this done. :biggrin: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This idea could be a conclusion to that storyline where you end the curse of so... ProjectVRD Posted October 22, 2012 Author Share Posted October 22, 2012 I have now completed the DLC and if they succeeded, and this mod story was made to coincide with the sun being blocked... then the Vampires would have created a mess they would have wished they hadn't prior to it. These creature may have originated from underground for instance, or like said before, attacked Oblivion from another dimension and detected that it was now safe to move into Tamriel as the Vampires made it safe for them. This would be less of a fight them quest, and much more of a 'survival' quest. Depending on what is possible, could there even be a cease fire of sorts between the factions and even an Dremora that helps? Has anyone created a friendly Dremora which can talk to you?
