LE Duel wielding - How to make it fun.

So, I've played LOTS of skyrim, but I could never get into duel weilding for this reason.

 

I really dislike the system of vanilla DW. You're forced to double attack for it to be effective.

 

Regularily right clicking / left clicking is the same efficiently as using one weapon.

 

I think a way to severely improve DW Combat would to make each hand have an individual cooldown.

 

Right now when you right click, your left click goes on CD. If someone made a mod to make it so they didn't, It would still be effective to use your single swings because while that swing is going through / resetting its so called "cooldown" you would be active with your other hand.

 

IE: Making the Rotation (Right Click -> Left Click -> Right Click -> Left Click) Instead of (Double click, repeat)

 

I don't want to make this post too long, so I'd like to hear feedback / thoughts, and if I need to redefine my idea of what Duel Wielding should be.
