The Qarl's Purple Ground Maps problem

Heya guys.

First off, sorry to pester you. I know this has been discussed before.

I'm getting those purple tiles of landscape people are talking about. I've tried a few of the methods to remedy the problem, but I'm not seeing any improvement. I'm running OOO and MMM and Francesco's, although I have TONS of other mods installed but are inactive. I've tried reinstalling the Unique Landscapes mods I have, and I've changed the texture size to Large. I don't think that there's a conflict in between mods and esp's I have just because I have only a few OMODS (Exnem's, your DOF mod, an idle poses one, Half-Elves, and the Elven Map Reux) which wouldn't seem to conflict. I've set up the esps and esms for MMM and OOO and Francesco's just like it suggested in a readme, so I wouldn't imagine it's an ordering issue with that either. I've reinstalled QTP3 and have been using the DOF omod as opposed to the esp, which were both suggested on the nexus forums.

So I'm DYING to start playing, and this purple mini-map texture for the landscape hurts the soul too much. If I can get it to work, I can post screenshots of what I've got up if it'd help.

Oh, and is QTP3 an esp file? I wasn't sure.

Cheers,

Purple mini-maps are caused by the DOF you have. Cant remember exactly but its something like replacing the Shaders folder in DATA and it should be OK. I had major headaches trying to fix this, but it really is easy.

Try replacing Shaders folder from your Oblivion disc.

Hope MrCooper's idea works. I do know of another way if it doesn't. Simply uninstall and then reinstall oblivion. No, you don't have to delete any of your files or rearrange anything or copy it to a different folder. Just simply uninstall, then reinstall. I've had this before myself and it has always worked.
