Arion12
I think this would be quite a nice mod. There would be a small number of 'Carriages' drawn by two horses each. Around each would be about 4 guards (well defended). They would each be carring a merchant, lots of gold and a fraction of the merchant's merchant chest. They would be part of the lawful factions, e.g attacking bandits. A thieves delight (rob them) and it would also allow 'good' players to restock around the wilderness. Any one interested? On a side note traveller caravans, rich people travelling, or even tax shipments (cartments) would also be possible using this as a base. I wouldn't be much use since scripting and texture/meshing are not my fortes (i'm learning though,......slowly).
ianfreddie07
For the meantime, try the Tamriel Travellers mod.
MrCooper2006
Great idea - Even with Tamriel Travellers this is still missing.

Arion12
Exactly, it would open up a whole range of roleplaying possibilities  . Though i still ask, anyone able to do it?
avengedone
Recently i was thinking about this exact thing. Trading goods between towns and maybe you could join either the thiefs faction (to steal the goods) or the defender (random enemys will attack in larger numbers then normal bandits)
