Character Sliding Issues

Hi Everyone,

 

Sometimes my character stops and you can see him sliding from one place to the other in slow motion. If you press to the right, it will slide to the right in slow motion.

If I reload a previous save, it will still keep sliding. No matter what save I reload, it will keep sliding.

 

To fix this, I have to quit the game completely and just load my last save.

If I save while I'm sliding, then quit the game completely and then reload that save, the game will go on normal until I stumble upon another sliding moment.

 

Apart from the mods installed below, I also have "Qarl's Texture Pack III" installed.

Since it hasn't happened in a while, I think it's fixed.

 

I deleted the archive invalidation text file and used the mod manager to do BSA redirection.

 

It's working correctly for now with the deadly reflexes.

Damn! It's still happening. I randomly enter slow motion.

 

What else can I do to fix this?

Look in the Oblivion.ini for a parameter called bUse Joystick= If it is set to =1 (default) it will automatically assume you have a joystick attached and any small offset on any joystick voltage will cause creep in that direction.

 

By setting it to =0 it disables any joystick motion and may cure your problem. Let us know if this works.

I've done that and it seems to be working. I played for about 2 hours and didn't go into slow-motion. Once I saw the enemy wolves going into slow motion, but apart from that, everything works fine. For some reason I still think that this is due to deadly-reflexes mod. Maybe I'll install the latest version and see how we go.

 

If it happens again, I'll be posting back.
