Healp, my female have a male body.

As the title says. Im having some problems with my charactor having a male body and a female head. This problem started after I eddidet my skyrim ini file. I added 3 lines under general i Added "fMasterFilePreLoadMB=128.0000" "iPreloadSizeLimit=268435456" and under papyrus I added "iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=3000000000". Then I loaded up the game and all my saves with females had ben converted into vird male/female mixes. If I use showravemenu, it showes them as being males. This only affects saves, if I make a new game with a female, both head and body is female.

 

Then I thourght that I could fix it by just deleting my ini files, seeing as that was what caused it. But the reset to default didnt healp at all.

 

I have the latest update for the game. And im using the unp body.

 

And yes you are right I should have made a backup of my savegames and ini files before playing around with the ini files.But due to ignorence on my side I didnt think that any kind of lont term damage could happen by edeting the ini files.

 

So if anyone know if it is poseble to save my save files then that would be great.

Apparently, you females had their sex changed for whatever reason (I don't see how your ini changes could be responsible of that), because they are referred as male in showracemenu, and a sexchange changes only the body, not the head.

 

Open your save file, open the command line, type player.sexchange, your female will have her female body back, and you can save over your corrupted save.

Thanks Gilead Maerlyn, that solved the problem. Wel I cant say for shure, that the change to the ini file was the reason for the sex change. But it was the only thing I did to the game, betwen closing it down and starting it up again. So I assumed that it was tha cause of it.

I have a similar problem. i try to change my character to female but it only changes the body and leaves the head as male

You have to use the "showracemenu" command to do this, you can't use the gender-swap console command (which is, to say the least, buggy)

 

"Showracemenu" reopens the character creation menu and will let you adjust anythign about your character you wish.

 

(also it is exceptionally bad form to bump 4 year old threads that didn't come to any useful conclusion, just make a new thread in the future)
