CTD Switching/dropping weapons

So I'm playing as normal, sometimes I want to switch weapons as you do and if I happen to have one drawn at the time, as soons as I equip the new one skyrim goes off like a lightswitch without telling me anything. I've noticed this can also happen when I try to drop an equipped weapon or something like that. Thing is, the mods that could potentially be involved in this I have been using for a while without issues, and I don't see what else might cause this.

 

BOSS sorts my load order but I also keep it running fine myself (Mainly I have lots of texture mods, my load order isn't that big anyway) and the game plays just fine until I want to switch weapons.

 

I was wondering if there was something I could do to find out what could be causing this? Perfectly happy to mess around with more advanced stuff to try figure it out, as I really hate having to deactivate things one at a time..

 

Also I searched and searched the forums and couldn't find anything the same so apologies if this issue has been raised elsewhere.

 

Mods installed:

Auto unequip arrows

Various Armour and Weapon retextures (i.e Millenia WRP/Immersive Armours)

Character retexs ( Xenius' mods and several others)

Bandolier bags and pouches

Flora overhauls

SMIM

W.A.T.E.R

Realistic lighting/Ragdolls with force

SoS

SkyUI (I have the latest SKSE)

Jaysus swords

Pineapplevision Synergy ENB

Ah, after doing further digging this appears to be an issue with SkyUI, Auto unequip arrows and the latest 1.6 update conflicting.

 

SkyUI is the problem I think, however disabling either mod resolves the issue as far as I can tell, fingers crossed.

 

So if anyone else encounters and issue switching between bows and melee weapons, this could be the cause. Have a nice day. :blush:
