Making movies in oblivion?

Different folks us different programs. Most I think use a program called FRAPS. You have to pay to get the best features but it seems reliable enough. I use Xfire, it's free and has more options / features than FRAPs, but it takes a little getting used to. Either way, after recording you can use Windows Movie Maker to do simple editing. You may already have it installed on your rig.

Something that may or may not help you: Xfire is free and does everything that FRAPs does plus a lot more. FRAPs does have a demo version that may suit your needs and it is a more stable program.

Now, if you're leading towards adding videos into Oblivion mods, the program you need is RAD Video Tools (aka Bink & Smacker), which is a free download. Program converts videos into .bik format which is used by the game engine.
