Hizzles
Okay, I just DLed this game a week or so ago on *not allowed*. Now I'm looking to add some mods. I DLed the "mod manager" thing. Now I have no idea how to DL or add these mods to my game. I see lots of talk about what things do and such but no real walk through on the manager or installation of the mods. I DLed a texture pack and when I read the .text document it said something about having to first add the Hi Res graphics pack so I DLed that as well. Now I have boh of these mods on my desktop in .Rar files but I don't know what to do with them. Is there a good thread on walk-throughs on installations or the mod manager? Can someone give me a hand or point me in the right direction? linkBanned-DrGrimm
Hizzles
Then when I DL the manager I got a message to move Skyrim from the 86 folder So I do that and then I get an error message that it's a file is not in that folder. I thought I was supposed to move it? Can't this stuff ever be simple? Edited July 24, 2012 by Hizzles
Hizzles
Anyone? I am trying to add the Hi Res Optimized mod so I can use a texture pack. Why would there not be installation instructions in the .rar file? Am I just supposed to inherently know where to stick all these files? I don't get it. Seriously I see no directions on anything. Using the Mod manager...installing the mods, nothing. I'm just frustrated because I don't have brain damage and I'm pretty savvy when it comes to doing things like this and I have no idea where to start. NONE. Just a .rar file with a ton of folders. I have looked everywhere for instructions and see nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
bben46
Once upon a time you actually had to know something about computers to pirate a game - apparently you still do.
