stalkersoldiers
it was being stupid but it's up now.Now would be a good time to mention the styles of swords: 1.) One handed long sword2.) One handed Scimitar3.) Dagger4.) Two handed Claymore5.) Two handed Claymore6.) Dagger7.) Either a one handed katana or a Dai-Katana not sure. Which one would you guys like? p.s. logintodownload: I have no idea how to use blender, nifskope, and/or anything else i might need. I do know a little above the basics of the construction set though.
LoginToDownload
The tutorial works under the assumption that you don't know anything about Blender/NifSkope, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.
stalkersoldiers
do you really need all of that stuff just to make a few swords? it says i need: Blender from blender.orgPython from python.orgBlender NIF import/export scripts from sourceforge.netPyFFI from sourceforgeA BSA Unpacker at http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3117 andNifSkope from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ckage_id=170735 holy crap. does every one have all of this stuff? LoginToDownload
Where does it say PyFFI and Python? And the scripts are just a plugin for Blender. As for the BSA Unpacker, that's to access Bethesda's meshes and textures. It's only necessary if you don't make your own collision objects in Blender, (which incidentally isn't hard. That tutorial just doesn't do it) and if you unpack it all somewhere else you only really need to do it once.
stalkersoldiers
ok i clicked on Blender and the NIF import/export scripts and it said i needed those as well. But i only need Blender and NifSkope right?
HouseAtlantic
ok i clicked on Blender and the NIF import/export scripts and it said i needed those as well. But i only need Blender and NifSkope right? If you have the latest version of Nifskope http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=149157 The blender NIF scripts is what you need. I highly recommend using one of LHammonds' packages to start with blender specifically http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12248
stalkersoldiers
i don't have anything yet. So i need blender and nifskope that i know. Any thing else. please keep simple.
LoginToDownload
The .nif import/export scripts are definitely necessary. Aside from those, you also need BSA Commander and DDS Converter.
