Flexible wings - Flying?

Hi! I've been doing some research on Internet and I found out there's a mod you're capable of "flying". I found a Middas spell that add flexible angel wings to you!! I was wondering if it's possible to do it with some dragon or demon wings, since my character is too good...ehr, I mean... evil, to look like an angel.

Nosvertu I think was the name of one modder that were in the process of making flexible dragon wings, but I've lost clue as regards what happened after that (kind reminder there are lots and lots of mods and some from 2008 so Ive lost track of the ones I've been visiting by now).

I have lots of wing packs, none of them are flexible although they all look cool!

So any flexible wings over there?

Well, there's this, with demon wings: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/36903

There should be more resources of animatable wings working with this, but for some reason I can't find them anymore now.

Then there's custom-race-bound wings, which a mod author can make usable with any race and/or wearable, but... yes, it'd need skills and work:

https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/32775

https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/40102

But luckily most of those' wings will be based on the same custom bones and work with the same animations as from the Air Fight System, so one could just swap the NIFs.

And then there's races and flying based on my own wings and custom bones. These will sadly "not" work with the Air Fight System as of now, but they come with their own animations and flying:

And last but not least I also possess an abundance of new and improved wings and animations for my old wings, mostly to be part of my currently still worked on Gliding Flight approach, but sadly none of it is in any way close to or even able to be released right now.

So this is only for those interested, or capable to make use of it on their own somehow:

New wings, no animations, only poses, not yet even finished model-wise for both genders:

Old wings, new animations:

Once I'm done with said Gliding Flight approach though, you won't be seeing the old wings anymore in future releases. They're basically up for grabs, if people just ask. Just showing those pics to show what "can" be done with them already right now.

More capable animators than me can definitely squeeze much more out of them, too.

If just I had still as much free time as I had in the past, you'd be seeing lots of releases of these new features already by now. Alas... it can't be helped. :ermm:

Oh wow, they all look nice. Imma give them a try, thank you!!

PD: WOOOOOOOOOOOOW, the first system is INCREDIBLE!!!! I can't believe I was flying for real hahahahah !!

I'm interested in changing the wings on that system (deleting the tail would be ok since my character is not a real demon, just a weird vampire with wings xD), may I ask for some guidance?

The Air Fight System's demon wings without the tail? Should be quite easily done. Do you have NifSkope or can acquire it first? (Don't know if there's any version restrictions for Oblivion modding though. Mine is still the antique 1.1.3.)

With it just open "Data/meshes/vipcxj/AirSystem/Wings/DemonWing.nif" browse to and right-click "1 NiTriShape - lowerbody" in the NIF tree on the left, and click "Block > Remove branch" from the context menu. Or just do so directly on the tail in the right-hand 3D scene, but it's easier to miss there. Then save the modified NIF again under the same name.

It's very advisable though to first make a backup of the file!

Too late, I've already became a demon and slaughtered 3 whole cities in their sleep (?).

Jokes aside, I'll try to experiment a little with it. Thank you!!
