DatRandomDoge
Here is the problem. Im using vortex for all of my mods and one of my mods requires me to build it in Bodyslide for me to use it properly. I open it up to preview and build it and it will not show any of my presets for the mods i have. My filepath is set to Steam Folder\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\ and will not load anything. I tried linking it to the Vortex folder but to no avail. Any pointers or tips i could get would be very helpful Edit: It Recognizes certain data files in the settings menu but nothing shows up for any of the presets. Gunst
Make sure you open BodySlide from your game folder, not anywhere else. Edited October 20, 2019 by Gunst

Dmaknero
Didn't work for me. All my files are there in skyrim/data/meshes/character/character assets. They just won't appear in game
anjenthedog
then you're not building them into the correct location. If you put anything at all into the Bodyslide > Settings > Advanced > Output Path, it will not build the data to your player. That field is for redirecting the build operation to alternative locations only. And also make sure that your Bodyslide Settings > Game Data Path is set correctly to point to your game for me that path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\ PS> in case you fire up bodyslide from vortex or some other manager I'd advise you to fire it instead from a desktop shortcut

Sorry for necroing the post, but I really wanted to thank you for this solution. It seems so simple to do, but to someone that has little experience dealing with all these moding tools, you saved me a lot of time and frustrations. johnnyreimer
Guys, I desperately need help to get this to work. The location of my bodyslide tool is (D:) Steamlibrary/Steamapps/common/Skyrimspecialedition/data, right above the Caliente's Tool folder. I cannot for the life of me get CBBE to show up at the Outfit/body tab, everything is empty. I really, really want to get this entire thing to work, but for context I am a complete noob when it comes to mod tools and all that.Where do I save my downloaded presets? Should I download them manually or through Vortex, and how can I get CBBE to show up in the Outfit/body tab? I have also made sure that the Bodyslider's Game Data path is set to (D:) Steamlibrary/Steamapps/common/Skyrimspecialedition/data, as from the previous post in this topic mentioned that the tool should be run from the game folder.I know the majority of you are very experienced with this sort of thing, I just hope some here can take pity and help me set this right, I really want to learn the program so presets for my character in the future won't be an issue. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18625?tab=description this is the mod I wish to use for an example. Also, I am available through Discord if that makes the whole explanation process easier. I know it is a bit of a stretch to ask for a guide here, but I have spent so much time trying to find videos and other guides that would resolve my issues, but no luck.
