DragonZaf - Formal warning issued

DragonZaf has received a formal warning. This user has now received 1 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason:

 

Disparaging, unconstructively criticising, false and provoking comments

 

Comments have mainly been posted on a certain mod Nexus forum page (8 in all, 4 of them posted before the user downloaded the corresponding mod 11 February 2019, 12:30 AM):

Tanks in this Roguetech, stronger than some medium mechs..

150 armor +structure 80? in one side? please!! that is analtanksdestoer with 2 x srm2 1 x large lazer x2 MG

its a heavy mechs parametrs???!!!

really?? wtf ..you CANT jump on it because - MISS, you cant just step on it, it wotn be destroed because need 3 mech taps on it, for all side ot he tank...

WTF? really? tanks is strong, but they never be strong in books/

its hard to kil that hell scum!! and sometimes group of 4 medium mechs CANT destroy 4 x tanks

To better understand the essence, I will give an example of the battle.

the complexity of 3 skulls.

I have 4 Mechs, x 2 Griffin, assassin, blackjack, all stock.

Against me 4 cicadas, with full armor. 4 heavy tanks, 2 of them with Gauss cannons, 2 heavy with autocannon and SRM and LRM.

While I was fighting cicadas, using all available means and tactics.

These tanks from afar soaked me with Gauss guns and LRM.

After destroying all the cicadas, I was left with about 70% of the armor integrity of my mechs. And then the tanks arrived.

As it turned out accuracy and armor together with weapons they have 3 times more power than my entire group.

Literally for 2 turns these creatures blew up blackjack,

for 3 turns-disfigured Gryphon, the commander of the panic catapulted,

4 turns blown assassin,

5 turn-crippled Griffon, I do not survive and press Alt F4.

It's funny that the retreat button is nowhere on the panel!!

I tried DFA, attack from the back, my pilots are all about 7-9 points of pumping, some obvious mistakes in tactics, I did not, but the tanks moved very quickly, attacked from the back, DFA on them almost always a miss, normal shooting - often a miss!!! as a result, I did not take 10% of armor and one tank, and they destroyed all my lance in 5 moves.

THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE EASY, ENEMIES ARE DEADLIER AND THAT'S INTENTIONAL!

YES!! i DONT WANT EASY MODS!! thats why il install it =)))

this mod is perfect..

BUT - DEADLY ENEMIES its not the same that - CHEAT ENEMIES

you wont kick the babies right? why? because you power is absurdly higher

whats i am talkin about ...

The complexity of the modification should be heavy, but fair to both parties.

So I spent an hour of the game, on the enemy could not destroy, because of the huge difference in power.

If we take the maximum complexity-it's life. In my life I would not began to fight with them in this environment.

And here you are offered a mission in which you could win, but as it turned out that neither do lose.

It's not complexity, it's pseudo complexity.

The complexity should be a challenge to the player, so interesting, only your actions should determine the outcome of the battle, then it is a real difficulty. Remember the dark souls series.

3 important things, and problem with this mod..

1) if only a tanks have a heat limits, just like MEchs ...

2) tanks must die then mech crush it with legs. no matter what

3) no pilots in here

so it would be LORE friendly and logical ... but now we have death machine with unlimited ammo, energy, with no stability,and pilots.

is this lore friendly? nope

RogueTech wont work with 1.4

Additional problem is localisation

so if you dont wanna break not only roguetech but game itself, go on try this with 1.4

Love this modifications.

But the problem is that some things in this package, I really don't like.

And do not like very much.

At the moment the package has passed some kind of framework balance that is.

What is happening in the game begins to seem like absurdity and nonsense.

For example, a horrible-looking bushwalker (really dont wanna play with non qualify models of mechs and mech what use another vanila models) came running to the center of my assault team in the beginning.

I can't hit him, the chance is small because he's got the ECM.

But he can stand in the center and shoot my mechs at the back, meanwhile, his "buddies" on the sides of the map firing at me with SWARMS of missiles INFERNO, the number of missiles fired is just absurd and monstrous from one machine.

2 volleys of missiles and assault falls overheated.

While going 8 paraprotex machines, my group is barely alive, I really can't do anything, and it's on mission 3 skulls. I'm not talking about tanks already.

In General, I wish the installer was a wide range of options. I like mechanics, fashion and so on, but I don't want for example overpowered mechs with some strange loadouts, super tanks, super mega bushwakers with 0 heat and absurd amount of guns.

do it please, more choice sir "LadyAlecto"

just cutoff -tanks, bushwalker +another scrappy mods for me ..espesially venichles pips and ace pilot =)))

notes: in table game -battletech - the tanks mean not single one but group of them, it is a tank squad

just like in hero might and magic

nope, that armor you gave to tanks its too weird for 1 tanks and non logical

1 tank can hold 1-2 ppc hit and thats all (exept porototype)

this is weird i know

but author means that vehicles are too weak in main game

and buff all their states

so now some vehicles MOAR danger than mechs, no stability, no heat, no lethal parts e.t.c. and finally stomp (thats is logical) isnt work for them

this is really annoing and broke all the game concept (super duper mega bolid armored overweaponred tanks with master acces pilots thats kick your asses 24/7 - nice jokes meanwile)

tanks for vanilla game is fine for me, they fine as they are, maybe little buff (little)

this game i for mechs not for tank, fanny but if author was right mechs in their universe are no much for tanks and will be useless)))

 

i suggest to you

1 reinstall roguetech and choose

1 normal difficult

2 uncheck oversized mechs and tanks

3 uncheck OP custom loadouts

and then delete some folders in (battletech/mods/) 1) roguetech tanks 2) vehicles have pips (or else named)
