f00m0nch00
None of the ambient music, public, dungeon, explore town or otherwise is playing anymore. Not even the intro menu music. I have downloaded any mods recently that might mess with the sounds folder recently except perhaps Lost spires. What are other things i should look for? Khet
I'd navigate to you Oblivion Data > Music folders to make sure the files are still there and weren't accidently deleted. After that, and provided they're still there (if not back up your mods/saves and reinstall) double check to make sure your sound isn't turned off ingame. Something stupid to say, and you've probably already checked but I've had my sound volume randomly drop to zero a few times in the past. Also, you can try updating your sound drivers to make sure it's not a problem with those.
Ethre
Make certain the music volume slider is up when you go to Options - Music ingame.

f00m0nch00
Turns out i while i was screwing around with load orders i accidently disabled my musical immersion mod. turns out it had modified the .ini file. After reinstalling, and backing up the whole data folder all i had to do was set bMusicEnabled=
