Boots/Shoes tutorial?

Has anyone seen one? Theirs none in the search that i could find. The tutorials I've been following very roughly show how to make boots with a box poly but after 6 hours of constantly going wrong it would be great to see how it's done.

with some skill it can be used for boots aswell
