help placing NPC in worldspace.

I have created a Feral ghoul npc and attached the default Cripple on load script to it. When I console spawn this npc it works fine and immediately drops to the ground in the default crippled position for ferals when both legs are crippled.

 

But when I use CK to Hand place this npc in a place where I want it, the crippled script doesn't seem to apply.. I arrive at the location to find it walking around normally?

 

Anyone know what I'm missing?

OnLoad event may be if-y in some cases like load from save etc I think you have to use some tricks to get it to work as intended.

I have never dived too much into it yet and do not know what the status is in 2919, but see the notes in the documentation,

Also found that interiors doesn't work. I will try this method above but to be honest I have never understood scripting.. I actually have no idea on what people are saying when they try give me tips.

 

I want this race to always be Crippled when they spawn. Its a feral ghoul but has a custom race. Is that something I can do like a run once at start of game type thing on or create a quest stage for it to be run on?

 

On load definitely isnt working as intended. So yeah I will try some other methods

 

Maybe IF race?
