Giulianosse
I was just wondering here... it would be awesome if someone made an inventory mod that changed the current inventory system (weight based) to a tiled inventory like Diablo (image added as attachment, but with more armor slots), where is the size of the item what it counts. It would add a lot to the realism of the game (those encumberance mods are great, but it is weird that 500 cheese wedges are equal to 5 dwarven body armor). That would make possible inventory management and smart thinking by the player to better determine if it is really necessary to pick a item. For example, lets suppose the inventory grid is a 9 tiles square (excluding the armor set, and left and right weapon slots and ring spaces). The player would have to choose either to carry an iron armor and long sword or 2 daggers, one mace and a ring in the free inventory space. Of course some items could be stacked to increase available space, like ingredients or some potions (but it could also have a potion belt) I have 0% experience with the construction set and modding tools, so I can't be of any technical help if someone wished to create a mod like these, but I could manage to list the items based on their size I don't think such thing is possible to mod, but I never know =P
BrabbelKP
It's not exactly using a grid (not sure if that's possible with the skyrim-engine), but how about this:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21224
