whachapatcha
For some reason, my character's head clips through mod headgear. I don't know why this is happening. Any help is appreciated. Edited July 28, 2012 by whachapatcha

SariDecember
This happens probably because the you have not created a custom egm file for the helmet. You can do so by downloading The Conformulator. Although it was made originally for Oblivion I also used it for conformulating head meshes for FO3 and New Vegas. What you gotta do now is select your helmet mesh in nifskope and export is as an .obj file. Now load that .obj file into to the Conformulator an conformuate it to the headhuman.tri (gotta extract that from the bsa archives). Name the egm file exactly like your helmet nif and put it in the same folder. The egm file should makes your mesh fit to the headshape!
whachapatcha
I can't save the .nif as a .obj, and whenever I try to conforumlate it with the .nif, it says there's no corresponding .egm for headhuman.tri
whachapatcha
Is there anything I can change in the Fallout_default.ini or something?
SariDecember
Ini files shouldnÄt have anything to do with that!? You can't save the nif files as obj, instead click the mesh in nifskope's 3d window so that the grid shows up. Then click FIle->Export->.obj export
whachapatcha
I did exactly as you said, but it didn't change anything. My head still clips through. This only happens to my character for some reason, not my companions.
whachapatcha
The only way that I got it back to normal was by editing my character's face until it was really narrow.
whachapatcha
This didn't happen with the balaclavas before, but it did with the gas mask.
