RingADingDollface
I'm pretty sure this has been asked before somewhere because it seems like something that might be common, but I did my best to search for it and turned up nothing - so if I've overlooked a topic, I sincerely apologise, but I just wanted it to be known that I did indeed look. Basically, I'm wanting to put the BabyDollCostume mod from New Vegas Nexus [HERE] into Fallout 3. I've been looking around for tutorials and haven't actually found anything that helps me, or at least makes things easy enough to understand. What I'm after is someone to port it for me, or at least give me a simple tutorial on how to try and do it myself, maybe? I realise that since it's someone elses mod, I'd have to download the resources myself, that's not problem. But I just need a little help actually getting it into the game. Thanks in advance for anyone who might be able to help! :
Gribbleshnibit8
Load the original up in FNVEdit, go in and delete at least the World and Cell data. Once you've done that, go into the 'File Header' part and change the "FalloutNV.esm" to "Fallout3.esm" and save it all. Copy it over to Fallout 3 and see if it loads. If it does, make sure everything still points to the right places (object effects and such). If they don't, you'll need to fix them, or create new ones based on what existed. You'll be looking for an error that looks like "<Error blah blah code something>" in angle brackets. I think that's it. Save the whole thing and go into the game. You'll have to console yourself the items to check them, but if you want to add them, just find a place you like and use the GECK to place them in.
