Crashing, Rebooting.. Not a clue!

That test shown in the vid shows that there is a voltage present on the +12 volt line, but doesn't test the +5 volts. It also doesn't show if the +5 is low as nothing is hooked to the +5 volts line. But it is a good first check to see if the PS is powering up at all.

 

Re the difference between voltage in US & UK is on the outside of the computer. The power supply has a 220/120 VAC switch on the back that should be set for the local voltage - 220 for UK and most of Europe, 120 (or 115) for US & all of North America. Once it passes through that power supply the voltages inside the case will be the same no matter what the line (outside) voltage is.

Switched my Graphics drivers to the new BETA ones.. No crashes at all. If you exclude the fact that when my display switched off due to innactivity, it wouldn't reactivate. That is now fixed, my display never turns off :)

 

 

Problem solved.. Reseated all the hardware. Please lock!
