Just uploaded my first mod. Gives you magnitude and duration in the potions names, also names multiple effects. Check it out and let me know what you think. Link in sig. Thnx

Not my taste but it looks good. I would find a way ditch the spell and make it automatic. No source so I cant offer much advice other than trying Event Onit() on the potions so they are renamed when initialized.

edit: duh, this was discussed in a previous thread :)

I thought about having it automatic but didn't for two reasons. One is if you load in a harry situation you may get caught with your pants down (literally) and wont have your favorites set up. If you didn't re-load your client it wouldn't be necessary anyway. Two is if you uninstall the mod, scripts have a way of lingering in your savefile and you may keep removing/adding your inventory and having to reset your favorites. I have a felling more people will say this so maybe I'll just make two versions of it. Not a hard thing to do.

Also I know it doesn't have a very immersive feel. Its very technical. I'd like to work on that without making the names to long to read in the favorites menu.

Thnx for checking it out and the input!

Thnx a bunch guys!

I hate that such a simple idea became so complicated. I'd really like advice to make it more attractive. I think its a useful idea just hard to execute.

Been thinking of throwing out multiple effects and simply listing only magnitude (or duration for paralysis etc.) with the vanilla names. That would make it more attractive but loose a lot of the functionality. If I could figure out how to make CFM display more text that would help too.

I added a third version. It is a vanilla version. It only adds magnitude or duration to the vanilla names. The only other feature is it makes restore effect display in names instead of fortify etc.

Edit: Went ahead and made it auto too

Had a breakthrough!

The spell is no longer necessary. I figured out a way to only run the inventory evaluation when the client loads not every save. It's the best of both worlds. If I can figure out a way to reset hotkeys when you first load your client, it will be completely unintrusive.
