Mod Creator's Please do * NOT * ....

I waited for this post, and it will be posted in Skyrim SE - FO 3 & NV, mod dialog area.

Mod Creators, please do NOT put quest related items:

.. Keys - Notes - and other important items lying out unprotected.

Here is why:

They will get bumped - moved - dropped through the ground and by any and all other means of which can and will cause them to ' vanish '.

With in the past few months:

* Bottle of very important Quest Related Item, dropped behind the unit it was placed on, totally out of reach to get it.

... How?

No, not due to weapon fire, explosions and such. Nope. Due to the Robot doing it rounds and bumped it and knocked it behind the item it was sitting on, thus near impossible to get it. This was proven to the Mod Creator by several players.

* A KEY NOTE, in another mod, simply dropped through the ground levels it was on top of, to be found, only if you TLC'd to get to it. It apparently did NOT like the rock it was on.

* A KEY, to a tomb was sitting on a broken altar. It got knocked off and lost, by two draugr's " fus-ro-dah'ing " each other it got blown away. Nothing to do with the NPC at all ... as they were not even in the room yet. Only hears the battle going on.

This happens far far more then it should. So the simple answer is:

DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS OUT IN THE OPEN, ( Please.... ) A chest, desk, box, safe should in all cases be used for these items.

Thank you .... and yes, this happened again to me yesterday. I discovered a key was needed to move forward ... except the key was placed in a cell where there was already a serious battle with explosions going on and the key was blown out of sight - focus and reach. No matter how many times you re-entered the saved game before this room. The fight was already going on and thus the key was already M.I.A. due to the Mod Creators " self inflicted battle ".

If a KEY ITEM is left out in the open, odds are seriously beyond HIGH it will get " moved " and/or " lost ".

Thank you kindly for pondering this! :D
