Bites Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 (edited) Hello! Im not entirely sure if this belongs here, but I dont know any other NV forum that is active enough to help me. Im having a rather strange issue with the quest "You'll know it when it happens" in which you have to save the NCR president from beeing assassinated.I have read multiple walkthoughts and am aware of how the mission is supposed to work, however my game seem to have decided that it wants to be different or something, because no matter what I try, "You'll know it when it happens" always fails. Basically, everything goes normal, I deal with the sniper in the tower, the mechanic and defuse the bomb.When I now talk to Grant, the speech gets interrupted and Kimball is supposed to run to the vertibird and fly away safely. (according to the Fallout wikia/ various walkthoughts) Instead, he runs into the "safe room" inside the dam and explodes. He just explodes. There isn't even a bomb, I checked before the presidents arrival and when he runs inside. (I can't get into the dam during his speech) I play the ulitmate edition brought over steam and the only gameplay-altering mod I have installed are Mission Mojave and Mission Mojave+. Please help! EDIT: I found the issue. It was caused by either Mission Mojave or Mission Mojave+. Im beginning to think they're more trouble than they are worth.
