6xxbangerxx9 Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Recently I tried importing a mod into vortex and all of a sudden it says that something couldn't be found and whatever it was broke all functions in vortex so I can't delete or download any new mods. I heard that this issue is VERY uncommon so I figured the best option is to uninstall. I am still kinda new to modding but I spent hours getting my near perfect mod loadout and I don't want it to be lost and restart. So will my mods be safe if I run uninstaller and reinstall vortex?
Maxyoo28 Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 If you don't have you Downloaded mods directory and mod staging directory in the vortex directory, then you won't lose your mods, but I think you'll need to import your mods again by drag and droping them. I'd let other people more expertised in Vortex correct me if I'm wrong :smile:
