RitualBlack
If you want your Skyrim to be completely vanilla you can still uninstall it through steam. After you are done installing you will go to \Steam\SteamApps\common and delete the Skyrim folder. This will remove all of your mods. Now when you reinstall it from steam your game will be mod free. Aha okey, thanks! But when after i installed it from the disc its still updating/patching from 60%, is that just some normal patches or the mods i downloaded before that now are in Steam Cloud? RitualBlack
It should just be the game patching. I am not sure about the steam workshop but I don't think it installs mods for you unless you choose to install them.
Rustle32
You can rename your Skyrim folder, then uninstall in Steam. Then reinstall and so you won't need to download Skyrim again, make a backup copy before doing anything else. Uninstalls do not remove your save games or your Documents/My Games/Skyrim .ini files. Rename those .ini files to start completely from scratch.
