Multi-Platform Gaming Question

First time poster on the Nexus Forums here, wondering if anybody could shed some light on a question I have. I bought Skyrim for the Xbox360 shortly after its release, my TV broke down, and have been playing it on a very old, very low quality TV ever since. Needless to say, it doesn't do the game much justice. Not too long ago, I bought a new computer to replace my old hand-me-down computer from 2002. Naturally, I also bought a copy of Skyrim for my awesome new computer and it's a huge understatement to say that Skyrim is much better on an HD monitor than it is on an old TV. Anyway, I bought Dawnguard on the 360 and thoroughly enjoyed it. My question is: is there any way for me to transfer the Dawnguard saves, or anything like that? I would rather not buy the DLC twice, if at all possible. I just want to pick up where I left off with my original Skyrim character and enjoy playing the game as it was meant to be played. Thanks so much in advance

Tl;Dr - I have Skyrim for Xbox and PC, bought Dawnguard for Xbox and want to know if I can avoid buying the DLC a second time, while still utilizing my PC's far superior graphics

What you purchased is a license to use Dawnguard on an Xbox. That license ins NOT transferable to your PC. To play it on your PC LEGALLY you must wait just like the rest of us for it to be released for PC, Then purchase that license. - OR - Be in violation of a US LAW (not the EULA) against bypassing a Digital Rights Management (DRM) feature intended to block illegal use of copyrighted materials.

If you want to debate the legality, please contact the lawyers at Microsoft who will be happy to discuss this with you. Meanwhile, PLEASE keep it off of The Nexus. We will ban for discussing any bypassing of DRM.

As mods are not allowed by either xbox or PS3 we do not support modding on them in any way here. If you want more information, here is a link to the site policy on modding consoles.

Asking for, or giving any advice on console modding will get you banned. Attempting to debate, question or start a topic on the policy will also be grounds for a ban.

If you really want to discuss whether console modding is legal or not, I recommend talking to the lawyers at either Sony or Microsoft as we don't want to deal with it.
