Blacksnake89
I decided I'd make the place for my stories separate from my poems. I'll start by digging up my old character stories posted here then I'll move on to my newest work. If you're interested in this thread make sure you keep an eye on this OP I'll be updating it with links and such later.
Blacksnake89
Detias is a Dunmer who has been possessed by the soul of a dremora lord and his story started in Morrowind. Name: Detias Vec'Tir/Scourge Race: Dunmer/Dremora Age: 300/Unkown Appearance: He has lighter toned skin with dark rings around the eyes and white hair. There is a scar on his left eye starting from the forehead going down the side of his cheek and curving to the underside of his chin right below the bottom lip. He has unnatural red eyes that hold a flicker of fire. His teeth have been distorted into fangs and his nails have hardened like the claws of a clannfear. From the ritual required to bind the dremora to his soul he has a tattoo on his back resembling daedric rune. Scourge was once a noble mage brought to Vvardenfel to fulfill an ancient prophecy. He completed that destiny by slaying Dagoth Ur in Red Mountain. After Becoming Arch Mage Detias started experimenting with new magics trying to make himself stronger so he could protect Vvardenfel from harm. He soon found a powerful font of magics that held power beyond what Detias thought possible...Daedric magics. Detias traveled to many daedric ruins, taking any artifacts he could find. One day he found the shrine of Azura. During Detias' searching of the ruin he managed to awaken Azura. She gave him a task and promised him a reward for completing it. Upon completing his quest Azura gave him her star, a soul gem able to be re-used and carry many souls. Detias was surprised at how much more powerful this artifact was than all the others he collected over the last month. He decided to test it out and go hunting for golden saint souls in the graze lands. After absorbing many daedra souls Detias became restless convinced there had to be more powerful artifacts out there. He communed with the daedra lords Sheogorath, Malacath, and Molag Bol and with them he found the Spear of Bitter Mercy, Helm of Oryen Bearclaw, and The Mace of Molag Bol. He found a way to convert these artifacts into pure daedric essence. One day Detias found the shrine of Merunes Dagon. Lord Dagon told Detias he would offer him power beyond what he could fathom. All Detias had to do for him was bind one of Dagons servants to this world. Detias thought this to sound easier than he expected but it had been more than he bargained for. Detias was forced to sign a contract with the daedric prince agreeing to bind Serekynkyl to the mortal realm. Once Detias signed the contract Merune’s servants began their work. Detias was informed of what he had just willingly signed. In order to bind a dremora lord as powerful as Serekynkyl to the mortal realm he needed to fuse Serek's soul with his own. Detias had fused the souls of lesser daedra to himself many times before so he had no problem with the thought of a powerful valkynaz dwelling within him. Detias was bound to a series of runes written on the ground. The servants of Dagon chanted an incantation in daedric to call forth the mighty Serekynkyl. The fusing of a dremora lords soul changed Detias' body, began to warp it. Detias fought back when Serek tried to take control of his mind. For a year Detias managed to suppress Serek's will until he grew tired of fighting with his mental roommate, Detias decided to make Serek an offer. He proposed they meld their minds into one, become more than just the 2 divided minds of Detias and Serekynkyl. Serek was pleased with the idea and pleased more that he would no longer be a slave to Detias' body or a servant of Merunes. They would become a being the world would come to know as Scourge. For the next 2 years Scourge had managed to kill off the tribunal save for Vivec who vanished before he had a chance to march up the temple stairs. Scourge was finally defeated at the top of Sotha Sil's Clockwork tower by an old friend Alexander Tybalt. Tybalt couldn't bring himself to slay his old friend so instead he decided to erase his memory and send him to Cyrodil where he would foil his old masters plot to invade. Detias came face to face with Mancar Camoran and it was Mancar who revealed to Detias who he was. Detias refuse to listen to Mancar's story claiming there was no way he could have been the vile Scourge. After slaying Camoran Detias proceeded to escort Martin through the now daedric infested Imperial City. It was there he met his old master. Dagon called out to the part of Scourge's mind that would remember, he called out to Serekynkyl. Serek awakened and with him Scourge. Martin had divulged to Detias how he could restore the barriers between Oblivion and the mortal realm. Right before Martin put his plan into action Scourge drew his blade and cut martin down. Scourge then heard another calling; Sheogorath opened a doorway to his realm…
Blacksnake89
And here's Drukon I'll post the "start" of Nameya later tonight possibly tomarrow, to avoid possible post abuse violations ect. Name: Drukon T'oth (pronounced t'oath)Age: 26Race: TabaxiApperance: Like all T'oth Drukon is a black tabaxi. He has yellow eyes and wears a ceremonial armor given to him by his father. Backstory: In southern Valenwood lies a settlement where 3 great Tabaxi tribes live. The three clans are the Firan tribe, the Arcnam tribe, and the Dark Shroud tribe. Of all the tribes none have produced as superb assassins as the T'oth clan of the dark Shroud. The shadow panther Pherthia herself has given the T'oth clan her blessing. The T'oth clan has a a diverse family tree with many branch families and a main line. Every branch family is allowed 3 children but only 1 male. The main families are allowed 4 children but they must have at least 1 female but no more than 2. All children of the main branch except the first born become their own branch family upon marriage. Story: Drukon T'oth was the first born of the T'oth main branch and because of this he was taunted and excluded by the other children of the Dark Shroud tribe. Drukon tried hard to impress his peers, he managed to get top of his classes in training which only served to push them further away from him. In their ignorance the other children thought Drukon was undeserving of his grades and thought he was merely a pampered noble. What they didn't realize was it was the opposite Drukon was pushed harder than any other child, even those of the T'oths. His father demanded perfection from him and pushed him hard to succeed. Drukon's only friends were his younger brothers Rukon and Ukon. Rukon was quite popular with the other children of the tribe and tried to get the others to accept Drukon more. Ukon worshiped Drukon for his skills and said he was a true legacy of the T'oth clan. One particular Tabaxi who absolutely hated Drukon was Rokoon Drogoth a member of the Drogoth clan. Rokoon's father Dro'oth despised Drukon's father Faythis. The two had been close friends. During a war between the Tabaxi and the nearby Lycosians. Faythis had been credited with ending the war and was named a hero. Dro'oth felt he had done just as much as Faythis and deserved a hero’s title as well but in Faythis' shadow he was almost forgotten. One day when Drukon was 12 Rokoon mocked Drukon calling him a pampered talentless coward. He insulted Drukons family calling his mother a faithless angel and his father a coward and a glory pig. Drukon was infuriated at the insults and drew his daggers at Rokoon's throat challenging him to a duel, Rokoon refused. Later that night Drukon snuck into the Drogoth estate and murdered Rokoon. The next day the incident was brought to the council of elders. Dro'oth demanded the T'oth clan be stripped of their status and exiled; Drukon claimed he was defending his family’s honor which is a justifiable reason within the clan. After the evidence had been brought up the elders decided Drukon was within his rights. Dro'oth was infuriated and told the council they only found Drukon innocent because he was a T'oth. For their disrespect the Drogoth's were removed from their status as nobility and dropped to middle class citizens. Dro'oth sword vengeance against the T'oths When a Dark Shroud becomes 16 they choose what their path will be. The most prestigious of the paths is that of the assassin. The main branch of the T’oth clan was able to produce an advanced type of assassin known as the Shadow Walker. At 16 Drukon was given his duty to choose his path. His father had wanted him to follow the path of the assassin. Drukon following in his fathers footsteps chose the way of the Shadow Walker. In order for a member of the T'oth clan to become a shadow walker however, they were required to kill the previous Shadow Walker, their father. Drukon and Faythis traveled to Terminus the ancient city of their ancestors. Upon arriving there they split up and the hunt began. While the strongest of the T'oth clan were away Dro'oth and his followers in the Drogoth Clan took their revenge. The Drogoths attacked the T'oth estate killing many of the guards. Dro'oth went to the main T'oth estate intent on killing Drukon's family. There he found Drukon's mother, Kaiun ready for him. He drew his sword and in his ignorance went after her expecting a quick and simple kill. Kaiun was a powerful priestess of the shadow panther and gave Dro'oth a rough fight. She managed to scorch the right side of his face with a powerful blast of shadow, disfiguring his face horridly. Despite her power in the end Dro'oth defeated her. Rukon enraged, ran at Dro'oth driving a dagger deep into his leg. Dro'oth grabbed Rukon by the throat and dismembered him slowly. Once he was done he pinned both bodies to the wall. The councils armies caught sight of the siege on the T'oth estate and moved in to stop the assault. Dro'oth managed to escape but the armies were close on his tail. For 3 days Drukon fought with Faythis and on sunset of the third he caught him off guard and slew him. After his task was completed Drukon prayed to Pherthia to receive her blessing. In deep meditation Drukon spoke with Pherthia and she showed him a vision. Drukon witnessed the slaughter of his family and the escape of Dro'oth. When Drukon awake his daggers were missing. He found a new pair of daggers on the altar; Pherthia had blessed him with her prizes, the daggers Misery and Despair. When Drukon took up the daggers he felt something inside him change. He saw the world differently. It was as if all he saw was darkened and blurry but strangely clearer. Drukon left immediately for his estate, for 3 hours he sprinted at his full speed until he arrived. He was greeted by the council and their army who told him the story of what happened. In a vengeful rage Drukon bounded off to the camp where they were holding the captured Drogoths. He tested his new blades on their necks, offering every kill to the Shadow Panther. Drukon felt something change inside him. He was able to sense Dro'oth almost smell him. Drukon and the counsel tracked Dro'oth to a cave east of the settlement. Dro'oth knew he was backed into a corner and surrendered. Dro'oth faced the council and claimed he was defending his clans honor for the loss of his son and the disgrace of his clan. The council ruled that genocide against an entire clan is an act of war not a matter of honor. Dro'oth screamed he was right many years ago when he said the councel favored the T'oth clan. He claimed his trial was unfair and the council was unfit to rule the tribe. The council ruled his punishment was up to the digression of Drukon. Drukon ordered that all direct blood relatives of Dro'oth be executed and the rest of the Drogoth clan be exiled from the tribe. Dro'oth's name was to be cursed and he was to be used as a sacrifice to the Shadow Panther. Dro'oth was taken to Terminus by Drukon and placed on the alter. Drukon cut Dro'oth's wrists and left him to the Shadow Panther to judge his punishment in the afterlife. Drukon took his surviving brother Ukon to Fort Wyandyk in Cyrodil and left him in the care of one of the T'oth branch families. For many years Drukon stalked the shadows working as a freelance and a political assassin for the Dark Shroud. His name is whispered in the night and cursed by those he chases. He can find his mark from miles away and track them with unnerving speed. He strikes quickly and accurately with his daggers. Many don't realize he's killed them until they drop to the floor, some don't even see themselves pass. It's said Drukon is such a good assassin he can even kill ones soul with his strikes. Some say he's no longer alive but a specter. Myths aside Drukon has only been seen by one of his victims on a contract in Vvardenfel. Drukon however was caught by the Imperial legion after fulfilling a contract for the shadow council. He was picked up as a suspected Mythic Dawn assassin but after trying to help the emperor escape the sewers he was cleared of his charges. He is however marked for death by a member of D.U.S.T. DUST is a secret order of high tech operatives under orders from the elder council specializing in spec ops missions. Their top operative Illkurok is on the trail of Drukon. It is only a matter of time before the two masters of the shadows meet. A quote once said by Drukon is "I enjoy the thrill of killing; each murder brings me closer to my family." Edit: I forgot to mention before Drukon left to pursue his life as an assassin he was visited by Mephisto a being that feeds off of tragedy and sadness. Mephisto told Drukon that there was a noble in Cyrodil that had helped equip Dro'oth and his army during their slaughter. Whether this was true or just one of Mephisto's attempts to spread discord is still unknown to Drukon but he keeps his ear to the ground just in case. Blacksnake89
Ok so here's part of a story I've had in my mind for a long long time. The story was meant to be the back story to a game I'm halfway confident I'll never make. This is an intro well more like a prolog timeline. It's not really complete or fully thought out yet. Just what I have down sofar. If I where to make the game it would be called Armada. I had planned on calling it Guild Wars but someone beat me to the name. Optimistically by the time I end up making this if I do. The copy right on the name will probably have expired. Well here it is Armada-prolog April, 1961 Yuri Gagarin becomes the first earthling human to enter space. This turns out to be both mans greatest achievment and eventual cause of their doom. The year 2000, mankind enters the digital age. Warfare, science , and every day life are forever changed. 2033 mankind pushes themselves to the brink of collapse. 2034 the treaty of unity bring the world into one entity. State and country borders are removed. Resoarces are freely shared. This new empire is named the united empire of earth. 2050, Man perfects space travel allowing them to reach distant planets. August 13th 2051, Vladamir Patrenko and his crew aboard the U.E.F. Columbus discover an artifact near pluto that forever changes their history. The object is a large gateway of unknown age. A small station made from the Columbus is quikly erected around the gateway. Within a month Vlad and a small research team activate the gate. Small expedition teams are sent to the other side of the gate. It's discovored that the gate leads to the sun's closest star Alpha Centuri. 3 month after the opening of the gate E-Day happens. A race of sentient space faring reptiles known as Davar arrived. They seemed friendly and willing to attempt diplomacy at first. However this notion was only a trick to buy time until a major fleet arrived. The Davar pillaged and plundered the sun colonies. Without the need for war or weapons the humans find themselves without proper defense. Within 4 days the human population is reduced by 80% either killed or captured. Vlad and the remaining humans make an exodus through the gate. Fearing the remaining human would fall prey to the invaders Vladamir makes te decision to destroy the slip gate. Stranded and alone in an unfamilliar system the humans find themselves alone and vulnerable. January 3rd 2052 Humans make first contact with the Terrans. The Terran vessel is an unarmed cargo ship. Unfamilliar with the model's of this fleet they attempt to hail the earthling flagship. After no response they assume they're derelict and investigate the ships. While not armed with mass drivers, rail cannons, or lances of the alien ships the humans still pack powerful shortrang mining tools. Once the cargo ship gets within range the earthlings open fire leaving none alive on the cargo ship. April 6th 2052, the earthling fleet arrives at a planet busling with orbital traffic. The planet is Alterra the Terran homeworld. The Alterran port officials manage to get ahold of Vladamir. Vlad and his crew are shocked when they find other humans and not only human but they speak english or common as it's known in the civilised galaxy. Vlad informs the officials about their story. About how they come from another solar system, about how they were attacked my aliens, and about their situation. The officials are reluctant but figure the story's true by the shape and make of the human ships. They send an ambasador to the Columbus. After some debate the crew remembers about the Davar and how they seemed willing at diplomacy. Vlad ultimatly makes the decision to fire on the ambasadors ship and escape into a nearby slipgate, destroying it as they flee. The year 3500, Alterra is attacked by a race of sentient semi hive minded insects later refered to as Zz'Gashi (zig-ash-E). This attack came at a very oportune time. The Terrans had just perfected MK.II technology. MK.II are metal slugs energised by small ammounts of plasma energy. Much cheaper than plasma but much more effective than slugs. MK.II became the mainstay ammo for the terrans for many centuries to come. Zz'Gashi spread like a roach infestation. Once they establish a foothold in a system they are nigh impossible to uproot. The Terrans quickly learn the Zz'Gashi prefer desert climates when they create a hive cluster on Darconis. Darconis, a desert world surrounded by four moons that costantly block out AC. It experiances both dusk and dawn but never day. for 500 years the Terrans fight against these insects untill they finally contain the outbreak. The Zz'Gashi and Terrans come to mutual understanding of eachother. The Terrans realize Darconis is a secure Zig hive, being infected to the core of the planet and the Zz'Gashi Grave mind realizes attacking Alterra is hopeless no matter how many of them attack or how many times. Large scale fighting stops between the two. Terrans ships still get attacked by some of the smaller Zig tribes but never a large scale invasion. Soon after the Zig threat is quelled terrans find something else to fight, eachother. Alterra is split into the Terran Republic and the Terran Dominion. For nearly a thousand years it's little more than a division of borders however in 4988 a full blown war errupted. No one remembers who or what started it or why. What is know is how long it lasted and why it stopped. for 12 years the terrans fight amongst themselves. right before the turn of the new millenium the terrans decide to fuse together as one again. They make plans for their leaders to sign the Writ of Imperialism which would untit them again. On new years eve 5000, 20 minutes before the writ was to be signed the Terran republic colony of Tarsis implodes into a small black hole. The Domninion refuses to acknowlege responsibility for the insident. Infuriated the Republic begin mobalising their army for war. 10 after the first implosion 2 more trigger on the Dominion colonies of Calris and Demova. Emerging from the black holes is a small fleet of black warships marked with a distorted red skull. Within moments of emerging from the black holes the ships emit a loud radio signal like the wail of a thousand screaming souls as they begin bombarding Terran Colonies and planets. After 5 minutes they silence and darken. Infuriated and curious the combined Terrans send boarding parties into these "Ghost Ships" as they unknowingly refered to them as. They found the ships abandoned save for 3 dead crew members on each of the 6 warships. All the bodies wore strange full body suits that almost seemed attached to the corpses skin. The bodies were taken back to a research vessel around what had been the orbit of Calris. The 6 ships were taken to seperate colonies to be studied equally among the remaining Republic and Dominion forces. The final one was taken to Alterra to be studied on their planet. The suits on the corpses proved to be too resilient for any standard Terran tool. The researchers on Alterra managed to remove the suits but couldn't remove the masks. Millitary grade lasers, cutting tools, and even bomb's couldn't remove or break the masks. The physiology of the strange invaders seem very fammiliar to the Terrans oun. However it also showed signs of possible Zz'Gashi mutation and that of another possible insectoid like species. The Terrans couldn't find anything relatable to this third unknown species. One of the recovored bodies had a small communication device. Upon activation this devise played a single and simple message. "We are the ghosts of the past." As if past was the sacred word to raising the dead the black ships sprung back to life. Shifting into possibly a different demention they began to dissapear but not before leaving pieces of themselves behind. They planted small Pylons maybe 20 feet tall into the ground. All the "dead" bodies reanimated and phased out of reality along with the ships. Three of their colonies destroyed and 2 of their planets burning the Terrans found themselves dumbfounded. Three days later the Alterran transit control lost contact with a border colony. The Republic sent out a squad of rangers to investigate. When they arrived they reported seeing Zz'Gashi corruption spread throughout the station. Upon internal investigation they found something very wrong with the station. There was an overpowering smell of death but no blood or bodies to be found. No signs of battle just empty, dark, and quiet station. Aside from the infection there wasn't any sign of the Zz'Gashi either.
