MadCalf
I had the Skyrim Deathstar Moon mod that worked fine. However, when I copied my whole skyrim folder to my new pc, the moon disappeared. Every mod works fine...except there is just some big black circle in the sky of where the moon should be. I tried reinstalling the Deathstar moon mod manually and through the NMM. I also tried different moon mods the same way. Finally i tried just straight deleting the moon texture files out of TESVS>Data>Textures>Sky>(all files associated with moon mods). Still no freaking moon. I'm at a complete loss. Any ideas? alpha117117
Have you tried validating the game files on steam?
steve40
Did you copy over your ini files from your documents folder as well?
MadCalf
Yes and yes. both - still no moon. I even reinstalled the whole game and recopied my saves. im starting to think it has something to do with my saves/ini files. at this point, i just want some kind of moon back. any idea if its possible to somehow edit any changes done to the moon and return them to default without pretty much losing all my saves and starting over? MadCalf
Addendum: I temporarily deleted my save file in an experiment and the moon did work with a new character. so, it indeed has to do with my save file or ini file. I have one of those "I'm boned" feelings.
